This blog grew out of a need for us to inform, educate, vent, and keep our concerned friends and family up to speed on Francis’ colon cancer and our family’s experience.
LeAnne has been maintaining this blog through the family’s cancer and her widowhood journey to date.
She currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida, with their two children, Couper (3) and Riley (1).

I’ve been reading your blog… we sorry to hear about your loss.
I wanted to let know about something that you/your followers might be interested in. Camp Kesem at FSU is a non-profit organization that provides a free week of summer camp to children who have a parent diagnosed with cancer. There are three million children with a parent with cancer and Camp Kesem strives to address the emotional needs of these children. We would love to share some information with you.
